The Senate recently approved S.1867 giving the President power to detain U.S citizens/terrorists indefinitely with out trial, sounds like some bullshit dont you think. Our generations grown up with this idea that terrorism is something to constantly be on the look out for or afraid of with Bushes "terror alert" system and with over coverage by the media -basically submitting to what the terrorists want, us to live in fear. The combination of the wire tapping "Patriot act" that passed years ago and this new bill are showing signs of a future that is unsettling. Were compromising our constitution to defend against cave dwelling tribes men w AK's half a world away. Now the youth has proven our influence in the general election, basically putting Obama in office. With that said when we vote this time around maybe we wont be so influenced by Shepard Fairey's art work (Obama Hope Poster) but more influenced by the real issues affecting us.
